About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Research & Development Executive/Manager to spearhead the product development for our new premium mango for our new premium drink brand, specializing in mango-based beverages and fresh fruit tea.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the core operational framework to ensure the successful launch.
1. Menu Setup & Recipe Formulation:
• Create an appealing and profitable menu of drink offerings
• Develop high-quality recipes that utilize premium ingredients
• Provide guidance on pricing, portion sizes, and menu engineering
2. Ingredient Sourcing:
• Research and identify reliable suppliers for all key ingredients
• Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality supply chain
3. Equipment & Machinery Assessment:
• Determine the optimal equipment and machinery needed for efficient operations
• Source reputable suppliers and obtain detailed quotations
• Provide recommendations on equipment layout and workflow
4. Shop Set-up Planning:
• Design an efficient, customer-friendly layout for the shop
• Advise on equipment placement, storage, and workspace organization
• Develop operational procedures and staff training protocols
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in research & development, product
innovation, or quality management within the food & beverage industry
• Proven track record in making drink and dessert, menu development, ingredient sourcing, and equipment selection
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, industry best practices, and operational efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to work independently
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
• Passion for the food & beverage industry and a commitment to delivering premium-quality products
